The Michigan Irish Repertory, the only Irish Rep in Michigan, was founded in 2017, and works to bring Irish plays, both classic and brand new, to the Michigan theatre scene. Expect to see classic theatre by the Irish biggies like George Bernard Shaw, Samuel Beckett, James Joyce, W.B. Yeats, Oscar Wilde, Sean O’Casey, Iris Murdoch, and more, as well as modern day playwrights such as Martin McDonagh and Phillip McMahon.

The Irish Theatre has given the world some of the most significant plays in the history of the stage. The Michigan Irish Repertory Theatre, which has an alliance with The Cork Arts Theatre in Cork, Ireland, has a mission of focusing on bringing Irish works to life in Michigan.
